Ingredients of Kamarkat Chocolate

  1. It's 1 Cup of Fresh Grated Coconut.
  2. You need 1 Cup of Crushed Jaggery.

Kamarkat Chocolate instructions

  1. Take thick bottom Wok to add Jaggery in it and cook till it melts well..
  2. Now take a Strainer and strain Jaggery syrup so that all impurities get separated. Then transfer strained Jaggery syrup in a wok and cook at medium flame till boil comes..
  3. Now add fresh grated Coconut in Jaggery syrup and cook till it gets thick and brown in color. Then shift in a greased plate and make small balls..
  4. While making balls be fast else mixture will get hard and then u won't be able to make balls..
  5. Precaution: Wear gloves in hands or apply ghee in the palm as the mixture will be super hot and hands will burn. So ghee/gloves will prevent your hands from burning and give little shine also to kamarkat Chocolate..

Even though it is a rum infused chocolate frosting, you. Kamarkat is a traditional south-Indian sweet which is almost vanished from the market. I never liked it much, I'm more fond of Thein Mittai and Petti Kadai Halwa. These balls are very healthy, as we have used palm jaggery here.
