- Prepare 500 gram of bottle guard.
- You need 1/2 cup of ghee.
- Prepare 1/2 cup of sugar.
- You need 100 gram of khoya (mawa).
- Prepare of Chopped nuts.
- It's 1 pinch of cardamom powder.

Lauki burfi step by step
- Wash and peel the bottle guard & grate it. Squeeze excess water from the grated bottle guard and keep it aside..
- Heat some ghee in a pan and add the grated bottle guard to it. Cook it till it gets mushy..
- When excess water is absorbed add sugar to it and mix well. Add cardamom powder and chopped nuts to it..
- Now add some khoya (mawa) to it and mix well. Cook for 2 minutes and switch off the flame..
- Add some ghee if it appears sticky. Add this to a mould and set for 1-2 hours. Cut the burfi pieces as per your choice and garnish it with some more chopped nuts..
